Below are groups that I have joined and suggestions on computer programs for different stages of writing. The computer programs are a combination of ones that I have used/currently use and ones that have been mentioned by other writers. Writing Groups

This is a group wonderful authors who write in the "extended" Regency time frame (1780 - 1840).  They host yearly conferences and offer many different classes and lectures to all members and

non-members.

The Author's guild is a writer's/author's advocacy group that offers anything from website building services to legal advice. It has different levels of membership depending on your needs as a writer/author.

This is a writing program that gives helpful suggestions based off your writing, such as style, grammar, sentence structuring and much more.

Much like ProWritingAid, this is a writing program that gives helpful suggestions based off your writing, such as style, grammar, sentence structuring and much more.

This is a wonderful program that helps with plotting out your story, along with writing prompts, and character developement.

Atticus is a formatting software used for creating your ebooks, paperbacks, and hardcovers. Great for Microsoft, Mac, Linux, and Chrome users. 

Vellum is also a formatting software used for creating your ebooks, paperbacks, and hardcovers. Currently it is only available for Mac users.

Plottr is a program that helps you streamline your outline and plot out your book with ease.

Scrivner.png

Scrivener is an absolutely wonderful program that helps you organize your thoughts, writings, and research material. It helps writers of novels to lawyers and journalists. *Plus it has a cool corkboard feature.*
